Knight Inlet Lodge

A Wildlife Viewing Holiday to British Columbia & Alberta, Canada

Located 50 miles north of Campbell River Knight Inlet floats in one of the largest fjords on the British Columbia coast. The surroundings are spectacular, steep cliffs fall away to the deep blues and greens of the glacial fed water. The lodge is 37 miles inside the fjord, tucked into a protective anchorage in Glendale Cove, and it's here that your adventure begins.

Here you will find one of the largest concentrations of brown bear in British Columbia. See tiny cubs with protective mothers emerging from hibernation in spring and when the salmon return in Autumn bears feast on them in preparation for winter.

Marine wildlife tours are available daily that offer prime viewing of whales, seals, sea lions, porpoises and dolphins dependant on the season.

Guided kayaking tours are a popular way to see wildlife from the lodge even for the novice.

Bald eagle viewing and other bird life is excellent here.

Other tours are available to book including jetboat tours along the Kliniklini River, Boat excursions and guided hiking.
