The Legendary Yukon Silver Trail

Begin your Yukon adventure in the capital, Whitehorse. Travel the legendary Silver Trail Highway to the old mining city of Mayo. Drive towards Dawson City and relive the Gold Rush era. There are many historical properties to visit; amongst them is Diamond Tooth Gerties. Travel along the Dempster Highway which traverses alpine landscapes and remote scenery to Eagle Plains. On to Inuvik, Land of the Midnight Sun, located some two degrees above the Arctic Circle and visit the Igloo Church and search for wildlife. Drive along the Top of the World Highway famed for its incredible views. Head for Beaver Creek on the Alaska Highway. Along the perimeter of Kluane National Park runs the Haines Highway with nearby Chikat Valley and its Bald Eagle preserve. Use Haines as your base to explore nearby Glacier National Park. Finally, take the Alaska Marine Highway ferry to the old Gold Rush town of Skagway before driving the Klondike Highway to Whitehorse where your adventure concludes.
