1 & 2: Atlanta, GA

 

Welcome to Atlanta site of the 1996 Olympic Games and Georgia’s capital city. Atlanta offers a sophisticated mix of arts and culture, and world class shopping.

When expelled from Nova Scotia by the British in the 1700’s, French Acadian farmers settled in this area, known as Acadiana. 

Their descendents, the Cajuns, still speak a French dialect and observe the traditions of their ancestors. Lafayette is surrounded by attractions and historic villages, including Vermilionville and Avery Island. 

In the evening enjoy typical Cajun cooking while listening to a live Cajun band.
