Prince Rupert has a great collection of totem poles and you can see the carvers of aboriginal art in the First Nations Carving Shed.

Smithers and Driftwood Canyon
Beneath Hudson Bay Mountain, Smithers provides easy access to alpine lakes and meadows bursting with wildflowers in summer. See rare fossil beds at Driftwood Canyon.

The Hazeltons and 'Ksan Historical Village
Visit the three villages named for the hazel bushes in the area full of charm. The 'Ksan Historical Village and Museum recreates a Gitskan Village with painted loghouses, massive totems and art work.Nearby native communities include Kispiox, Kitseguecla and Kitwanga.

Prince George
Situated at the confluence of the Fraser and Nechako Rivers this place was first settled by Carrier Indians. Native culture and art are prominent here.

Burns Lake and Fraser Lake
Take lakeside drive or  boat tour at Burns Lake and see hundreds of migrating trumpeter swans on Fraser lake in spring and autumn.
