This holiday has been a favourite of ours for many years, and is best enjoyed by staying at our selected B&B accommodation. The leisurely pace and welcome from B&Bs and Inns provides for a relaxing holiday, while inside knowledge from your friendly hosts provides you the opportunity to see the little known beauty spots and relatively unknown delights of British Columbia.
Beginning in North Vancouver, you will travel through the mountains and valleys of southern BC, skirting long ribbon lakes and staying in friendly small towns.
North Vancouver
Connected to the main downtown area by road bridge or 'water taxi', Vancouver's North Shore offers a totally different experience. Close enough to downtown to explore, or take a city tour, but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle. There are free outdoor concerts during the summer months, and evening markets on the quayside, not to mention a host of quirky shops and restaurants. Nearby Deep Cove is a quaint village and is gateway to Indian Arm Provincial Park.
Kelowna
Nestled in the beautiful Oakanagan Valley, famous for its fruit growing and wine, Kelowna is the ideal place to relax and take in the natural beauty around you.
Revelstoke
Rich in railroad history, set in stunning surroundings on the shore of Lake Revelstoke.
Nelson
This town is in the heart of the Kootenays and dates back to the 1800s, filled with craft shops and cafes this is an ideal base to explore the region.
Banff
Snow-capped peaks, glistening glaciers and wilderness full of grizzly bears, caribou and wolves.
