This tour offers real contrasts from the cosmopolitan city of Montréal along the St Lawrence to the natural wonders of the Gaspé Peninsula. From Montréal you follow scenic road to the Bas St Lawrence region with its rich maritime heritage and seascapes. Cutting across the peninsula you go through the spectacular Matapedia valley and on to the UNESCO listed Miguasha Park, then follow the coast road past impressive cliffs and tranquil coves. Near to Percé is the legendary Rocher and the city of Gaspé. The drive continues around the coast staying at the small town of St Anne des Monts near to the Gaspesie National Park. You then take the ferry across the St Lawrence to Tadoussac which offers one of the best opportunities to observe whales. On then to historic Québec City.
