Music, The Civil War and Cajun Culture Fly-Drive

The mighty Mississippi, music and Southern style are the heart of this fly drive. Beginning in Atlanta, visit the Coca Cola Centre before setting off to Chattanooga, made famous by Glen Miller. The music theme continues in Nashville at the Country Music Hall of Fame and in Memphis, home of the Blues and of course Graceland.

Vicksburg on the Mississippi showcases Civil War history at the National Military Park, and in Lafayette and New Orleans the French influence is found in the dialect and cuisine of the Cajun inhabitants.

Montgomery is proud to honour Martin Luther King and also Rosa Parks whose courage gave rise to the Civil Rights Movement.

Savannah and Charleston are noted for their genteel style and beautiful architecture and town squares, be sure to visit at least one Plantation Home before leaving.
