A Fly-Drive Holiday

From Portland drive the short distance to the farming community of Carlton in the heart of Oregon Wine Country. Continue west to the Pacific Ocean and head south to Florence along the spectacular coast road. From the coast turn east through the Williamette Valley and on to the up and coming town of Bend. Continue east past the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument through the diverse Blue Mountains with its beautiful scenery and the Elkhorn Scenic Byway to Baker City. Explore Hells Canyon where the gorge walls tower up to 8,000ft above Snake River. Return west via Pendleton, the largest town in eastern Oregon and along the Columbia River Gorge to Portland.
